Artist Statement:
For over thirty years, I
have used jewelry to visually describe life’s joy and
romance. My pieces are angular and strong, reflecting a
deep familiarity with my materials. Starting with blackboard
sketching, I enjoy developing new concepts and watching them
metamorphose through metal manipulation, fabrication,
casting and stone inlay. I create the Marraccini feeling by
guiding the materials to their natural forms, with special
attention to detail and precise craftsmanship. ญญญญญAt my
studio in Charlottesville, Virginia, I combine exquisite
gemstones, guaranteed conflict-free diamonds and 100%
recycled gold in contemporary, classic designs that have won
numerous awards. |
